OEM R&D Manager

This position is a strategic leader for productinnovation and continuous improvement with a focus on the OEM businessunit. The OEM R&D Manager works closely with OEM AccountExecutives and Solutions Managers to evaluate customer requests for R&Dprojects from a technological perspective. This position will be critical insuccess of the OEM business unit and will help RTI maximize the number ofpatients served while maintaining a high level of quality and safety.
Thisposition is responsible for:
Strong cross functional collaboration, customer focus,excellent communication skills, analytical capabilities and the ability topresent findings to management and recommend tactical plans based onanalysis.
Fits idea sorting within the framework of the WWPP andcreates visualizations of multi-generation product plans.
Entrepreneurial spirit and consultative in approach tounderstanding the needs of the customer and building a framework for adeployable VOC.
Analyzes the opportunities based on risks, strengths andweaknesses, as well as the derivation of important issues of the future and theinnovation purpose.
Monitors the product life cycle for current OEM products and innovation products
Creates an OEM-NPD funnel for executive monitoring
Assists PMO team with work task details of new products
Works closely with Clinical and Regulatory to provide recommendations on FDA filing statuses, publications for sale, and clinical research
Assist R&D with development plans for product commercialization
Works with agility and a sense of urgency to understand and translate customer requirements into solutions
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCEREQUIRED AND/OR PREFERRED: (list required and preferredseparately)
Bachelor's degree and 5-8 years in relevant field required. Masters or MBA Preferred

Marketing and Technical Experience
Knowledge of global regulatory and quality regulations is preferred.
Demonstrated leadership and collaboration in a large-scale, matrixed, global structure.

Demonstrated ability to independently develop, drive and contribute to overall strategy and business plans in a rapidly developing/changing environment.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
