Regiona Sales Director - Sports and Surgical Specialties

APPLY POSITION SUMMARY:  Develop quotas for each distributor in the territory by product area and maintain open communication about performance and future expectations. Manage overall RTI Surgical relationships in order to meet sales targets.  o Provide input routinely on sales budget, both annually and throughout the year in total, and as needed during launch phase of a new product. Provide specific targeting related to customer and volume as requested/needed for new product business cases.  o Provide competitive information when possible. Be a conduit to other field personnel in order to allow RTI internal people to gather market intelligence.  o Oversee training in established territory in order to ensure new distributors/reps are trained on RTI products, as well as ensure that training takes place when new products are launched.  o Keep a constant line of communication back to RTI corporate on field related issues regarding business concerns, product, and projects, and requests. Supply information in order to allow RTI to function professionally and follow-up routinely to ensure responsiveness.   Responsible for negotiating contracts with distributors in area, within contract cost parameters. Budget responsibility for cost of sales.   Responsible for overseeing inventory usage within territory and assisting RTI personnel in inventory management   Able to speak knowledgeably about current RTI products and present to both surgeon and distributor customers   Establish and maintain current client and potential client relationships   Present and sell company products and services to current and potential clients   Prepare action plans and schedules to identify specific targets and to project the number of contacts to be made   Follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activity   Identify and resolve client concerns  o Prepare a variety of status reports, including activity, closings, follow-up, and adherence to goals  o Communicate new product and service opportunities, special developments, information, or feedback gathered through field activity to appropriate company staff  o Coordinate company staff to accomplish the work required to close sales  Develop and implement special sales activities   Participate in marketing events such as seminars and trade shows   EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED   Bachelor's Degree required   Demonstrated successful experience in regional sales management and exceeding sales targets in Medical Sports and Orthopedics 1543
