The person chosen for this position will provide leadership, strategic direction and oversight for the Finishing team.
The job responsibilities will include setting and upholding finishing standards, optimizing resource allocation, fostering collaboration, and maintaining strict adherence to project schedules.
Ideal candidates will:
Be considered a color matching specialist - using stains, sealers, primers, conversion varnish, toners, glazes and distressing techniques.
Be able to create and match customer custom samples Perform comprehensive hands-on training for all team members in the Finish Department for sanding, staining, glazing and spraying technqiues.
Have a working knowledge of products within the finish department.
Possess the knowledge and skill set to repair and to teach team members how to touch up items as needed Manage inventory and order supplies as needed Oversee company policies and OSHA regulations Adhere to Production schedule Conduct and participate in regular meetings with the Plant Manager on Process Improvement and Team Member evaulations.
