POSITION SUMMARY Works with the Corporate Communications team to coordinate and implement communications programs for internal and external audiences to advance RTI's corporate mission and business objectives.
RESPONSIBILITIES Support employee communications strategies by working with internal departments to research and develop content for various channels, including intranet, email, newsletter, digital displays, etc.
to ensure priority audiences are reached appropriately.
Implement and support communications strategies to drive employee engagement and recognition.
Collaborate with commercial teams to develop marketing communications materials and programs to meet company objectives.
Support corporate community relations programs by planning activities such as the annual United Way Community Campaign, Volunteer Time Off activities, partnerships, and tour programs.
Develop engaging social media content to meet company objectives.
Evaluate the success of communications strategies by analyzing appropriate metrics.
CORE COMPETENCIES Effective written and oral communications to educate and persuade audiences at various levels.
Excellent organizational, written and verbal communication skills.
Mature judgment and excellent follow-through in all areas of responsibility.
Must know Associated Press (AP) style.
Ability to coordinate multiple tasks and ensure deliverables are accomplished in a timely and efficient manner.
Ability to work as an integral team member combining the strengths and abilities of a group to accomplish corporate goals successfully.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite preferred Ability to create and project a positive image to the general and professional community.
Ability to conduct research and develop action plans based on results.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED Minimum four-year degree in public relations, communications or related field required.
