Job Description:
This full-time position (40 hrs.
/week) will assist Suwannee River AHEC's Meeting and Association Services department by supporting the work of event planning and association management.
Duties and
Responsibilities:
Coordinate and execute continuing education and continuing medical education activities with partner organizations, including:
Facilitate the completion of necessary applications and paperwork Serve on project/conference planning committees Develop marketing materials Coordinate conference communications Manage online registration and payment through CVENT Coordinate activity logistics with partners and venues Create and oversee program evaluations (using Qualtrics) and participant credit issuance (through CE Broker) Communicate with program speakers regarding paperwork collection, speaker travel, etc.
Assist with conference budget management Prepare on-site materials, including course handbooks, nametags, rosters, etc.
Provide on-site conference management services, including staffing registration desk, coordinating with venue staff, audio/visual setup, problem solving as needed Attend meetings/conferences to provide support as needed - both virtually and in-person Assist with Meeting and Association Services Department and other tasks assigned by the Executive Director Abide by CE/CME industry standards Preferred Experience and Skills Associate's degree or higher preferred Program and meeting management experience Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Clear concise written and verbal communication skills Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and administrative skills Excellent work ethic matched by openness to feedback and collaboration Inclined to think and work independently, but also work harmoniously with a team Experience using software such as Cvent, Zoom, Microsoft Suite, Qualtrics, Slack, Canva, Monday, Adobe Acrobat, and Publisher Must be self-motivated, self-sufficient, able to manage multiple projects, flexible, and able to work well under pressure Exemplary customer service skills Must be able to travel statewide for approximately 2-5 days at a time, prior notice given - lodging and travel expenses covered, meals reimbursed on state per diem rates Must be tobacco-free for 6 months prior to employment date and remain tobacco-free for duration of employment Compensation:
